I am a middle grade author represented by Nicole Eisenbraun (Ginger Clark Literary). My passion for writing began as soon as I learned to hold a pencil. In fact, I still have a number of my "published" works from elementary school.

After a very long hiatus in which I got married, started a family, and went about the business of raising children, I enrolled in a creative writing course. It rekindled my love of scribbling stories, and I've now completed two middle grade manuscripts and am working on my third.

Astrid Lindgren, author of Pippi Longstocking, said,

"What should a good children’s book be like?

If you ask me, I can tell you after thinking long and hard:

It must be good."

That, in a nutshell, is my goal: to write good books. I believe middle grade literature has the amazing ability to transcend age and reach all readers with a powerful message of hope. After all,

“Good children's literature appeals not only to the child

in the adult, but to the adult in the child.”
